Royalty Structure
PG Productions is structured to support authors while maintaining long-term alignment.
- The author receives 100% of net royalties on the first 1,000 total copies sold.
- After 1,000 total copies are sold (across all formats), PG Productions receives 3% of net royalties, with the author retaining 97%.
“Net royalties” refers to the amount paid by the publishing platform after printing costs (for print editions) and platform fees.
Payment & Reporting
- Royalties are paid directly to the author by the publishing platform.
- Payments follow the platform’s standard reporting and payout schedule.
- Sales counts are determined using official platform reporting.
PG Productions does not collect or hold royalty payments.
Termination
The 3% royalty participation applies indefinitely after the 1,000-copy threshold is reached.
Either party may cancel the royalty participation agreement with 90 days written notice.
Ownership
- The author retains full ownership of their work.
- PG Productions does not claim intellectual property rights.
- Authors maintain pricing and distribution control.
